Colliers Wood, looked at closely
The River Wandle powered mills and helped local textile makers wash, bleach and print cloth. Colliers Wood offers a useful reminder that good cleaning starts by understanding the material, not by reaching for one universal treatment.
Colliers Wood grew beside a stretch of the River Wandle where water powered industry for centuries. Corn mills gave way to copper, leather and textile work. At Merton Abbey, the river helped mix dyes and wash and bleach cloth for makers including Morris & Co and Liberty. Colour and cleanliness were not opposites here. Both depended on knowing what the material could withstand and what the process was meant to achieve.

Helpful answers about booking, pricing and how Listo Clean works.
Standard bookings start from £18/hour. Your clean details are shared with independent cleaners, who submit prices for the work. The final Standard booking price depends on the cleaner option you choose and the number of hours booked.
Assigned bookings are fixed at £20/hour. With an Assigned booking, Listo Clean selects a suitable cleaner for your request.

Yes. The minimum booking length is 2 hours.
This depends on the size of your home, how recently it was cleaned, and what you need done. The booking form includes a simple calculator to help estimate the right amount of time.
One-off cleans include a £20 booking fee, added to the final booking total.
You are not charged when you first submit a request. Where the booking form asks for a payment method, it is saved securely for later. Once Listo has provisionally arranged a cleaner, we normally charge the stated first-clean amount at 08:00 on the day before the clean. Your booking is confirmed after payment succeeds.
If the 08:00 day-before payment attempt fails, we will contact you and normally try once more at 16:00. If the final attempt fails, the clean is cancelled and the provisional cleaner is released.
All cleans are paid upfront. There is no additional deposit.

If no suitable cleaner is available, we will let you know. You will not be asked to pay for a booking that cannot be arranged.
If the cleaner cannot access the property at the agreed time, the booking may still be charged in full. Please make sure access instructions are clear before the clean.

Yes. With a Standard booking, your request is shared with independent cleaners and you choose from the cleaner options received. With an Assigned booking, Listo Clean selects a suitable cleaner for your request.
For regular bookings, we will normally try to keep you with the same cleaner, provided they remain available and both you and the cleaner are happy to continue the arrangement.
For one-off cleans, we do not offer a same-cleaner request option. Each one-off clean is treated as a separate booking and will be matched based on cleaner availability at the time.
